There are more Democrats and independent voters in Penfield than Republicans!
A lot of residents we speak with have the mistaken impression that Penfield is a "Republican" town and they are surprised to find out how many Democrats live in their own neighborhood. In fact, more than 60% of Penfield's registered voters are not Republican!
Penfield's demographics are shifting . . . only 36% of registered voters are now Republican, 30% are Democrats, and most of the rest are "blanks." The blanks are not affiliated with any party and often called independents (with a lowercase "i", so as not to be confused with members of the Independence Party).
