Independence Party primary
|
The Independence Party has long been a rubber stamp for Republican candidates. We've worked very had this year to give Independence Party members a choice of candidates, so they can truly be independent. To exercise this choice, Independence Party members must select, or in some cases as shown in the sample ballot below, write in the names of our candidates.
This primary is only open to voters already registered with the Board of Elections as members of the Independence Party. Voters registered as Democrats or as members of any other party cannot vote in this primary. The winners of this primary will be listed on the Independence Party lines on the Ballot for the General Election that will be held Tuesday, November 5, 2019.
To vote for our candidates, please fill in the ovals as shown and write in the following candidate names: Catherine Dean for County Legislator (or Butch Fitzsimmons if you're in west Penfield) and both Julie Mitchell AND Mindy MacLaren for Town Council.
